The video game industry stands on shaky ground today. Things are not the same as they were 7 years ago. As development costs increased exponentially, more and more developers were snuffed out. A divide has been wedged between the major publishers and the indie devs- with little in-between. The mid-sized developer suffered quite a bit during this last console cycle.
