The psp had the updated versions… but they competed with no one for them. That won’t be the case with the 3ds and now WiiU.And what I’m saying won’t happen is Monster Hunter pushing the Vita in an appreciable way. It will be too late in its life cycle to easily have an overwhelming effect. MonHun non exclusive will not “Save” the Vita, so people need to stop thinking it will. And while I won’t sit here and say I think Capcom will absolutely keep MH Nintendo Exclusive, it wouldn’t be so out there, with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom being a wii exclusive, Swimming in Tri/TriU being exclusive(albeit for different reasons) and most recently PS3 DLC exclusivity. And lastly, Capcom does not need the Vita, or possibly even the Sony fanbase to have MH be very sucessful. The 3ds(and Nintendos bilateral partnership for that matter) will most likely be better for the series than Sony or the psp ever were in and outside of Japan. There really is no need or even enough want at this point for it to be a Capcom priority, and we all know how Capcom behaves according to their priorities…
