A 500usd PC will max most current games out. 500usd is about the price of a next gen console.High end PCs are used for stuff like multi screen gaming, those sort of setups can run games at resolutions like 5760* 1080p – 7680 * 1600p. You wont be seeing such resolutions on console for a very long time perhaps a decade or more.
