Great console! My Xbox 360 died last week after 8 glorious years. The decision to go with Xbox One over PS4 was easy for me, because of the backwards compatibility (for most games). It’s a very good system. I was able to restore my profile from my 360 Live account, which was nice.
I went with the 500gb version since I knew I wanted to add an external drive. It makes sense to spend another $70 and get a 2tb hard drive vs an additional $50 for the 1tb Xbox version, which is only an additional 500gb of internal storage. External drives plug right into the USB port. Xbox One games take up a lot of space. It’s not like the 360 games. Each game can use up between 40-60gb of space on average. The internal hard drive will fill up fast.

Originally, I only purchased this for the 4K Blu Ray player. The price was too good to pass up. I’ve been a loyal PS4 user for years, but didn’t want to upgrade to the PS4 pro as it only offers 4K streaming. I have to admit, in comparison, the controller just feels better to me. The 4K player is outstanding as well. I am thoroughly impressed.

Had the original xbox one but felt it was time to upgrade. Saw this excellent deal and decided to go for it. Came with various promotions and an excellent game. Runs faster than the original one and is considerably smaller. Also like that it comes in white. The only thing i didnt like was that it’s only 500 GB. Very small amount of storage for this new generation but you can always use external hard drives.
Also really enjoy that it can play 4k movies so now i can finally watch things in 4k. All in all a great deal.
